The world tour started fairly locally with a trip to Edinburgh to see my eldest son - but hey that's another country ticked off already! The timing was great too as The Fringe was in full swing - definitely a good time to visit. The street artists gave a real buzz to the place and there were so many good shows on - and at a fraction of Lonodon prices - it was hard to choose what to see. We started with Paul Merton's Silent Clowns. Haven't really been a great fan of silent movies but it made me appreciate all the 'real time' stunts. No computer enhancement there! The pianist was brilliant too. Another highlight was Balé de Rua - a Brazillian street dance company. Even got chosen to dance in the aisles with one of them...
We also got away to the Highlands staying at Clacaig Inn near Glencoe - a very popular B & B with 3 bars in the middle of beautiful scenery.
